Fixed Drawbar on BL400 Agricultural tipping trailers

The substantial steel box drawbar is supplied onto low speed rated BL400 trailers as standard to keep costs to a minimum, commonly at 470mm hitch height.
While the initial cost is lower, this type of drawbar offers little damping of the dynamic loads that occur from a fully loaded trailer transferring though the drawbar onto the rear of the tractor.
We recommend customers of the BL400 range should upgrade to other drawbar options where funds allow.
